On Taking Advice and Its Contradictions
Advice is a weird thing. Sometimes you should listen, other times you shouldn't. But the only way to discover which is which is by taking action on the advice.

👀 Who is Andrew Gunderman?
I am a young entrepreneur who raised venture capital for the first time at 21 and dropped out of college that same year. I sold my first company at 23.
I host both private and public events for celebrities, professional athletes, influencers, elected government officials, business magnates, and more. Many thousands of people have attended my events all over the country, and I've raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in sponsorship.
I was named on the Inno 25 Under 25 list for 2023. You can find me in Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inno Magazine, and more.

😅 On Taking Advice and Its Contradictions
Advice is a weird thing. Something I always think about is that you could have 2 different billionaires give you contradicting pieces of advice. Both pieces of advice are mutually exclusive. You can’t do both. However, each billionaire used each piece of advice to become a billionaire. How do you decide which billionaire is the correct one to listen to?
This is part of the complexity of life. Depending on who you are, the advice may be completely wrong and you should ignore it. However, depending on who you are, the advice might be perfect. Ultimately, the best piece of advice in life is to take risks and do things. You will never find what the right path for you is, individually, unless you take risks and do things.
Build companies, build brands, try a million things, and see what sticks. My life has taken me down paths I never expected. In some areas, things I expected happened far sooner.
